Projects, solutions and creators are put forward ahead of the summit — by their own teams or by the ecosystem around them.
02 · Vote
The shortlist goes to an open online vote. In 2025 that produced 4,600 votes, and a fortnight of campaigning that reached well past the ARIIS audience.
03 · Award
Winners are announced on the Africa Stage on day two, in front of the room, with the host partner presenting a category.
